Sole Responsibility

Because I have always been aware that I chose this life,

I have tried to be comfortable with the choices I have made:
the good, the bad, the ugly, and the weird.

Having recognized early on,

Most people do not get the privilege of remembering where we came from –
And, more importantly, where we are going,

I feel a grave responsibility to honor this life.
